RE 2015 J&K Bank – Everything You Need to Know – I

Hello Aspirants!

Let us guide you through on “How to go through first phase of recruitment process i.e., “Applying for the Post“.

Something about the post:

We think there will be around 700-800 vacancies for this post. (This is a pure guess).

Looking at the previous recruitment, there will be 2 years of Contract followed by a year of probation i.e., You get on rolls only after 3 years. There will consolidated pay of around Rs. 20000/- during the contract and full pay after contact (Estimated to be around Rs. 50000/- taking in consideration the Pay Revision and DA hike during these 3 years).

Qualification Required:

First things first, I hope you have gone through the official notification from Jammu and Kashmir Bank about the post. If not, have a look at it here.

So, You need to Checkmark these Qualifications:

  • Are you born between 31-03-1985 and 31-03-1997? (For SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen: 31-03-1980 to 31-03-1997) 
  • Have you secured 55% in graduation or 50% in post graduation?
  • Was your qualifying result declared or will be declared on or before 31-03-2015?
  • Are you a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir?

If you have all the above qualifications, Congratulations. If not, we are sorry. Better luck next time.

Now that you are eligible for this post, let’s find out how you need to apply.

Online Registration:

Online Registrations will start from 2nd of April, 2015 until 16th of April, 2015 (Both Inclusive). Click here to Apply.

Step 1:   Candidates shall fill in bio-data/other particulars and upload latest photograph ON-LINE and shall obtain the 13 Digit Registration Number.

You don’t need any certificates at this time. You will be required to fill out particular info about yourself like Name, qualification, marks obtained. You may also need soft copies of your passport size photograph and signature.

Step 2 :  Subsequent to registration on the website and successful generation of Registration Number, the candidates shall print Registration Form alongwith Fee Remittance Pay in Slip.

There was no option to pay through Debit/Credit card last time and I think it will be same today.

Step 3: The candidate will remit the requisite fee( Rs. 500/- for General Category &  Rs. 300/- for Schedule Caste (SC) and Schedule Tribe (ST) Category) in any of the business unit of JK Bank in Recruitment Account No  1111040100031359 against the Registration Number/Fee Remittance Pay In Slip.

The status of the submitted Registration Form shall be available on the Banks website from 1st May, 2015 after Registration Number and Fee Remittance details are confirmed.

Applying On-line for registration without making necessary payment, the application will be summarily rejected.

Step 4: Important! Prepare for the Written Examination now.
