Applications on plain paper are invited from the eligible candidates for the below mentioned positions available in a research project entitled ‘Sustainable management of invasive plants using native insect herbivores in Kashmir Himalaya’ sanctioned by DST-SERB, Govt. of India. New Delhi.

The applications with full details (name, qualifications, age, working contact number, e-mail ID, etc.) along with photostat copies of the relevant documents should reach to the office of Department of Zoology, University of Kashmir, Srinagar, J&K, by or before 15th Jan, 2019. The emoluments will be as per the guidelines of DST-SERB, Govt. of India, New Delhi. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the project. The date of interview will be communicated separately. Furthermore, no TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

The position is initially for the period of one year, extendable after performance assessment, temporary and co terminus with the project.
