NCERT recruitment 2018: The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced host of vacancies in various departments at ncert.nic.in. As per the official notification, the NCERT will be hiring senior accountants, Editor, Assistant Editors and Proof Reader.
Candidates who are interested and eligible can apply for this job. For Editor, Assistant Editors and Proof Reader vacancies, candidates can attend the walk-in interview and skill test that will be conducted on January 23, 24 and 25 starting at 09:00 am. Candidates must note that last date to apply for Senior Accountant posts is February 3, 2018.

Total No of Posts: 08
1. Editor: 01 Post
2. Assistant Editors: 03 Posts
3. Proof Reader: 01 Post
4. Senior Accountant: 03 Posts.
Age Limit:-
Editor: 40 years.
Assistant Editors: 35 years.
Proof Reader: 27 years.
Senior Accountant: 30 years.
However, there is age relaxation for reserved categories as per Government norms.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have Bachelor degree from a recognized University, Post Graduation Diploma in Book Publishing/ Mass Communication/ Journalism, where editing is one of the subjects.
For Assistant Editor: Knowledge of book production techniques, modern process of printing, typography and should be proficient in Hindi.
For Assistant Editor: Candidates should be proficient in English/ Hindi/ Urdu.
For Proof Reader: Bachelor degree from a recognized University, Working knowledge of computer for S.No-03 with relevant experience.
For Senior Accountant: Graduate in Commerce/Economics/other related subjects dealing with financial management from a recognized University with 3 years of experience.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of interview and skill test.
