Admission Notification for
BBA/BCA/B.Sc-IT Programmes
Academic Session 2015-16
ONLINE applications are invited from eligible candidates of Kashmir Division including Ladakh for admission to BBA/BCA/B.Sc-IT Programmes in the Govt./Non-Government Colleges of Kashmir Division for session 2015-16. The eligible candidates can apply for more than one programme. ONLINE application forms shall be available from June 8th, 2015 to June 20th, 2015.
For ONLINE submission of application forms, the candidates are advised to follow as under:-
(i) Browse the Kashmir University official website: www.kashmiruniversity.net or www.kashmiruniversity.ac.in;
(ii) Click on the admission BBA/BCA/B.Sc-IT – 2015-16;
(iii) View ONLINE prospectus for details;
(iv) Open the ONLINE form fill it up with choice of three Colleges in order of preference falling in your Geographical Zone/District;
(v) Submit the auto-generated application form including pay-in-slip favoring J&K Bank Finacle Account No. 0007010100002714 along with the following documents in the Office of the College Development Council, University of Kashmir, Srinagar latest by June 20th, 2015:
- Matriculation School Certificate (Date of Birth);
- Marks Card of 12th Class (Higher Secondary Part-II);
- State Subject Certificate/Last School Attended;
- Reserved Category Certificate (if any) signed by the competent authority;
- Pay-in-slip for Rs. 450/- per course.
Eligibility:
BBA Programme:
50% marks (Open) and 45% (Category) at 12th class level (Higher Secondary Part-II) in Science, Arts or Commerce streams from J&K Board of School Education or any other Board/Institution equivalent thereto;
BCA Programme:
45% marks (Open) and 40% (Category) at 12th class level (Higher Secondary Part-II) in Science, Arts or Commerce streams from J&K Board of School Education or any other Board/Institution equivalent thereto;
B.Sc-IT Programme:
45% marks (Open) and 40% (Category) at 12th class level (Higher Secondary Part-II) in Science stream from J&K Board of School Education or any other Board/Institution equivalent thereto;
Completion of Admission Formalities:
The Colleges, both Govt. & Private, shall complete all admission formalities within a week’s time from the issuance of the 1st selection list. No dropees list shall be entertained thereafter. However, the admissions for the remaining/unfilled seats shall be done through counseling for which dates shall be notified separately.
