Full Job NotificationPost II : ‘Research Personnel’
The interested and eligible candidates are invited for a walk-in-interview to be held on 09 August 2021 (Monday) at 11:00 AM sharp in the office of the Director, Centre of Research for Development (CORD) for filling a single position of ‘Research Personnel’ available under the National Development Foundation (NDF)/Department of Wildlife Protection (DWP), J&K sponsored research project entitled “Preparation of PRI based geo-referenced biodiversity assessment, documentation and conservation plan of wild flora and fauna of Kishtwar High Altitude National Park (KHANP)”. The position with monthly stipend of Rs. 30,000 (consolidated) is purely on temporary basis for a period of two years. The research personnel is expected to take an active role in field trips for sample collections, carryout ecological and genetic analysis of the data, and GIS based corridor analysis under the domains of landscape ecology and landscape genetics. The candidates should bring original copies of all the related documents to be furnished at the time of interview.
The candidate must have a M. Sc. degree in Ecology/Wildlife Science/Environmental
Science with at least 60% marks. Only those candidates with age less than 35 years on the date of the interview are eligible for this position. NET/SET would be desirable, but not necessary. The candidates must have at least three years of research experience after M.Sc in the field of wildlife research and management in high-altitude ecosystems; with sound understanding of landscape ecology and landscape genetics depicted through research publications.
