The Registrar on behalf of Cluster University of Jammu invites applications from eligible candidates for the post of Driver on Contractual basis so as to reach in his office at G.G.M. Science College, Jammu on or before 20 Dec 2018 up to 3 P.M through speed/Registered Post.
Qualification: Middle pass from any recognised School
possessing Driving License for Hill Roads (commercial) with five years experience.
Age: Minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years.
Salary: As per minimum wages Act for skilled persons i.e. Rs. 350/- per day (SRO 460 Dated 26.10.2018).
Period: Period of engagement shall be for one year or till some permanent arrangement is made whichever happens to be earlier.
The number of persons to be engaged as contractual Drivers shall be as per requirement of the University.
The selection of the candidates shall be on the basis of their experience, preferably working experience in Govt.
Departments/State Universities.

The candidate invited for the interview shall have to present themselves at their own expenses.
The candidates so selected and engaged for specified period shall have no right for permanent appointment in the University.
The University reserves the right not to engage any person if not found eligible/suitable amongst the applicants.
The candidates are required to attach character certificate issued by any Gazetted Officer with the application.
