- The last date for submission of online application forms is 12th February 2016 upto 4:00 p.m.Hard Copies of the Application Forms of all the reserved category candidates have to be deposited at the Main Campus in Humanities Block by or before the last date. Hard Copies sent through post/courier must reach Convener Admissions by or before last date;
- The entrance examinations shall be conducted in the Main Campus from 20th February, 2016Â onwards, date sheet of which shall be uploaded and notified soon;
- The admit cards and information regarding centre of examination will be available online from 18th February, 2016 after 2:00 p.m.;
- The entry to examination halls shall be on the production of downloaded admit card supported by a valid photo identity card;
- The admissions shall be granted purely on the basis of performance in the entrance test and campus/college preference as given by the candidates;
- The admissions granted shall be provisional subject to fulfillment of all eligibility conditions on the date of issuance of first selection list;
- The first two provisional selection lists shall be issued purely on the basis of merit scored in the entrance test and campus/college preference and subsequent admission notifications (in case vacancies) shall be issued on the basis of performance in the entrance test andcounseling. Further only candidates obtaining positive scores in the Entrance examination shall be considered for admission;
- The students in their own interest shall visit the official website of the University for latest updates as the same shall not be notified separately. All information regarding admissions (Merit Lists/Selection Lists/Counseling notifications etc) shall be made available on the University website (www.kashmiruniversity.net) under the link Admissions 2016 in due course and no candidate shall be informed individually;
- The admission notification for self financed seats and admission to 2nd shift for selected courses shall be issued after the issuance of first selection list. However only those candidates who have obtained positive entrance test score shall be eligible to apply under self financed and 2nd shift seats.
